I'm Jessica Cheng, a writer and artist from Hong Kong, now based in Toronto. My background in Journalism and Comparative Literature has shaped my deep curiosity about the ways stories can be told—whether through words, visuals, or a combination of both. I’m particularly passionate about uncovering personal and collective narratives that highlight identity, memory, and migration.​​

I'm currently collaborating with the Richard Charles Lee Canada-Hong Kong Library at the University of Toronto for the upcoming exhibition Her Suitcase: A Voyage of Women Immigrants.

Storytelling, to me, is a way to bridge past and present, and to connect people across different cultures and experiences. Whether through writing, curating exhibitions, or creative projects, I’m always looking for ways to spark meaningful conversations and reflections.
