Bridging Communities Through
Shared Stories
Cheng curates workshops as spaces where creativity and community meet, designing each encounter as both an artistic process and a collective act of reflection. Her practice brings together poetry, embroidery, book-binding, and performance, inviting participants to experiment with new forms of expression while also fostering dialogue and relationships.
Collaboration is central to her approach. She works closely with universities, libraries, schools and NGOs, drawing on their resources and networks to ensure that diverse communities feel welcomed into the creative process. In these settings, academic research, community knowledge, and artistic practice intersect, allowing participants to situate their personal narratives within broader cultural and historical frameworks.
