Winter Solstice

Winter Solstice is a short novel about Cheng's parents' migration journey and how my perspective of them changed after I moved to Canada. The short novel was published in Navigating Identity: From Hong Kong to Canada by the Richard Charles Lee Canada-Hong Kong Library.

Summer Solstice

Summer Solstice is a short novel about the 1967 Hong Kong Riots, exploring how the events impacted the daily lives of citizens, particularly the youth. It was awarded 1st Place in the House of Literature Hong Kong Fiction Competition in 2017.

The Vanishing Landscape

The Vanishing Landscape is about the change of cityscape. The fast-paced modern world fosters the changes of Hong Kong. It was incorporated in City Guide: The Pulse of Nature - Mid-Levels West《感知西半山──就是自然》.

天影路上的拾遺

The Lost and Found on Tin Ying Road

Through the eyes of a cleaner, The Lost and Found on Tin Ying Road conveys the development of the new town Tin Shui Wai. It was showcased in community writing program by the House of Literature Hong Kong.

浮遊者

City Floaters  

City Floaters captures the intangible shifts in the city’s atmosphere during the Hong Kong protests. The disruptions to daily life offer an indirect yet profound way to rediscover and explore the city.
